SR-A1A RRR Project Public Meeting 3-7-24
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will be holding virtual and in-person pre-construction meetings regarding the SR-A1A RRR (Resurfacing, Restoration and Rehabilitation) Project on March 7th. The virtual sessions will be held from 5-5:30 PM and again from 5:30-6 PM, with the in-person open house from 6-7 PM. Waste Management Rate Increase
Please be advised that on June 1st a 7% rate increase will go into effect for all commercial and residential recyclable, solid waste, and yard trash services in accordance with the Town's agreement with Waste Management.
Referendum Questions
After extensive and thoughtful deliberation, the Town Commission has presented three referendum questions to residents for the 2024 Municipal General Election:
1. Financing a Sanitary Sewer Lining Rehabilitation Project
2. Raising the Current Funding Limitation
3. Ability to Designate Election Canvassing Duties to Palm Beach County

Municipal General Election Info
The Highland Beach General (Nonpartisan) Election will be held on Tuesday, March 19th, 2024, which runs current with the Presidential Preference Primary Election (PPP) in the Library Community Room located at 3618 S Ocean Blvd.
Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections Wendy Sartory Link provides registered voters with three (3) different ways to cast their vote:
- Vote By Mail (Absentee)
- Vote Early (in person)
- Vote on Election Day (in person)
Town Board Vacancies
Board of Adjustment & Appeals - One (1) vacancy for an unexpired term ending September 2024 and one (1) upcoming vacancy for a three-year term.
Natural Resources Preservation Advisory Board - Upcoming vacancies for three-year terms.
