The Town has reserved two charter buses to transport residents to the upcoming Board of County Commissioners Meeting where they can express their concerns about the development of Milani Park. The buses will be departing from Town Hall promptly at 12 PM on May 7th. Post Office Closing 5-15-24, Cash and Check Only
Please be advised that the Highland Beach Community Post Office will be ceasing operations on May 15th. This decision comes as a result of the United States Postal Service (USPS) determining to discontinue the acceptance of credit card transactions. This new condition, in combination with the retirement of our esteemed Lead Postal Clerk Valerie Jacoby Jones, would make the continued operation of the Post Office financially inefficient and unmanageable. While this difficult decision will lead to the loss of a local service, it will also save the Town $150,000 per year and free up much needed daytime parking spaces. For more information and dialogue on the decision to close the Post Office, please watch the 4-16-24 Town Commission Meeting.
