Driving Safely During the School Year

The school year officially began today, which means students and school buses are back on our roads. Highland Beach PD would like to share these reminders with drivers to help keep students safe:

• Never pass a school bus from behind, or from the other side of an undivided road, if it is stopped to load or unload students.
• If the yellow or red lights are flashing and the stop arm is extended, traffic must stop.
• Stop at least 10 feet back from buses to allow children to safely enter and exit.
• Always be alert! Children may be unpredictable and it is our responsibility to help keep the road safe for them.

Concert at the Library

Delray Beach Little League Baseball

Post Office Now Closed

Please be advised that the Highland Beach Community Post Office has officially closed. This decision came as a result of the United States Postal Service (USPS) discontinuing the acceptance of credit card transactions and placing strict parameters on money collection and reporting for cash transactions.
