Intracoastal Waterway Manatee Protection Zone
Please be advised that from October 1st through May 31st the speed limit in the Town's section of the Intracoastal Waterway (ICW) will be reduced to 25 MPH. Manatee Protection Zones are established by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission to restrict the speed and operation of vessels to protect manatees from harmful collisions with vessels and from harassment.
Movie Night at the Library
Join us on Tuesday, October 1st at 5:30 PM for Arthur the King. In this drama, Mark Wahlberg stars as an adventure racer who adopts a stray dog named Arthur to join him in an epic endurance race. As his team is pushed to their outer limits of endurance, Arthur redefines what victory, loyalty and friendship truly mean.
Event at St. Lucy Catholic Church
St. Lucy Catholic Church will be celebrating the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi (Patron Saint of Animals) on Friday, October 4th. As part of the celebration, they would like to invite members of the community to have their pets blessed in front of the church at 9 AM. All are welcome!
Sharing Your History of Highland Beach
Calling all Highland Beach historians! As part of the Town's 75th Anniversary Holiday Celebration, the Library will be showcasing a "History of Highland Beach" exhibit this holiday season. No one knows this Town better than you, our residents, which is why we need your help in telling our history! Post Office Now Closed
Please be advised that the Highland Beach Community Post Office has officially closed. This decision came as a result of the United States Postal Service (USPS) discontinuing the acceptance of credit card transactions and placing strict parameters on money collection and reporting for cash transactions.
