2026 Municipal General Election Information

• Highland Beach Municipal General Election is nonpartisan and is held on the second Tuesday in March, in accordance with Sec. 1.06 of the Town’s Charter. Qualified electors of the Town elect a Mayor-Commissioner, Vice Mayor-Commissioner and three Commissioner every three years.  The terms for each position are staggered.   
   
• The next Municipal General (Nonpartisan) Election is scheduled for Tuesday, March 10, 2026. Hours: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM.
• Offices up for Election are:
  • Mayor-Commissioner, three year term ending March 2029
  • Commissioner, three year term ending March 2029.
• Qualifying Period:  

  • First Day of Qualifying Opens at Noon November 10, 2025

  • Last of Of Qualifying Ends at Noon November 25, 2025  

• Persons Who Have Filed Qualified and Are Unopposed

• Polling Location: Highland Beach Library, 3618 S. Ocean Blvd Highland Beach, FL 33487

• Precinct Number: 2801

Important Information

To be eligible to vote on March 10, 2026, you must be a registered voter in Highland Beach and in Precinct 2801. Below are important dates and deadlines:

• Deadline to register to vote: Tuesday, February 9, 2026
• Deadline to request that a Vote-by-Mail (VBM) ballot be mailed to you, Thursday, February 26, 2026 by 5:00 p.m.
• Deadline to return your VBM ballot, Tuesday, March 10, 2026, by 7:00 p.m., to the Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections main office or by 5:00 p.m. to a Branch Office or Secure Ballot Intake Station
